Yes sometimes women do miss a period on birthcontrol! Birth control really depends on your height and weight and the way your body is I am on the birth control patch right now and I still miss my period but if you think that you are pregnant you should stop all birth control and get a pregnancy test to make sure bc if you are on the birth control and you are pregnant it could hurt the baby.

Yes some birth controls can make a period more light and some stop periods all together it depends on what type of birth control you are on. If you are taking oral medications you should take it everyday around the same time for maximum results. But on the other hand birth control is never 100% effective my mother was on birth control whenever I was conceived I'm living proof :P best thing to do go to wal-mart or the dollar store and pick up a pregnancy test check the experation date and then take it. Put your mind at ease and quit worrying.

You can miss a period for many reasons. One a person is on birth control depending on the brand and the strength a person can have no periods at all. This is something that you should discuss with your Doctor because there could be other medical conditions that could also cause this and not be taken lightly.

You can miss a period if you keep taking your bc & don't give yourself the alotted time to have a period & yes, it can also be stressed, but if you're sexually active, it's not really about what you think, it's all about if that sperm got in there or not, so give yourself a couple more days (if it hasn't already been a week already) and take a test.

Hmm, I was wondering the same thing, because I'm on birth control too, and last time I was supposed to get my period, I didn't. I know I'm not pregnant 100%, so I'm wondering what happened. If I get my period next time, I won't worry, but if it stays away longer than that, I'll look into it more.

you can skip a period on birth control... even though it is suppose to regulate you. i have had the same thing happen. it can be caused by stress. i do suggest that you take a pregnancy test, only because you will continue to stress until you know the answer. and knowing is a lot better than not knowing.

when did you finish the pack. If you just started it, it is very likely it messed up your cycle dates. Usually, once it is in your system you will get your period on the third or 4th day of the last week of pills.

Yes, you can miss. It happens to me every few months. You should talk to your gyn if you are worried though.
