When my daughter was about 6, she wrapped up an audio tape that I already had, titled 'Angels' and gave it to me for Christmas!!! I guess the sweetest gift I ever gave was to my grandfather - I was about 8, and I saw a pair of mini-binoculars in a store. I wanted to get him a really nice gift that he'd love, and my mother said I could get that, so I did. I was SO proud to give him that present!

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

Wow, um....I was dating this guy who had never been to california before and I had lived there prior to moving to Ohio for 13 years. So I got out all my pictures of different places and maps and little baggies of sand.....put it all together and made the most AWESOME scrap book of California. He loved it.
The sweetest gift I ever received was a freaking DOW ROD... Swear..... he came to visit me at lunch and I was like what are you doing today. He said that he was going shopping somewhere...and I go..."AWWWWWW.....get me something!".
So he came back with a dow rod wrapped in a big red bow, the place he went shopping was Home Depot. LoL.

I was in the hospital because of a car accident. I was completely oblivious to what was going on because of the morphine and other drugs i was on. But, I wanted to give my boyfriend some flowers for a play he was in. So i made him a flower out of toilet paper and paper towels when I could barely move in my hospital bed.
Best gift ever given to me was everything my boyfriend did for me when i was in the accident. he went to the hospital everyday and sat with me and talked to me. Then when i got to go home he came over and sat with me and brought me movies and presents.

Girl, Us men has given sweet gifts all out sadistic lives with the women we have loved with flowers, candy, dinners out and dancing and all for the sake of getting some sweet release at the end of the date. LOL that's the reality of it all.

My g/f loved the blog/timline I made for our anniversary. I told her how much I loved her and talked about all the great things we had done. She loved my creativity.
