OMG...generalize much?
1. I consider myself "liberal", I'm married (7 years), I adore my husband and I have NEVER cheated on him.
2. Drugs and prostitution are going to continue whether they are legal or not. It's up to the INDIVIDUAL not to use them.
3. Cheating and drugs are not acceptable to most people, regardless of liberal or conservative viewpoints.

IS it just me ? I don't know? I don't think so, but I think you might be wrong and I am not sure what the deal is with calling names and giving out labels, seems everyone wants to label and categorize and box everything in now adays, no room for individuality anymore is there?
I see more family marriages falling apart due to sexual immorality than anything and drug abuse
Let's look at this if everyone and their brother and sister and sons and daughters are on drugs now because they say it is a prescription what is the difference? I don't like drugs! I don't want them or need them around me, I do think that people have a right to choose their own lifestyles whether open or closed or how they want to go about that. I think the big thing is the lies and the secrecy and the ones that go to church and then want to hide what they are doing behind the pulpit and tell everyone else how to live or not, being judgemental and picking this one and that one and then???
yet they (librals) find it ok to have multiple sex partners
I don't think that is just any one group of people I think all kinds of people do that some learn how to hide some things better or have enough money to buy silence in some cases, from what I have seen there is corruption all over and all around us in all kinds of people that want to seem so innocent and naive.
and have no concept of the value and meaning of marriage?
What does marriage mean if one is going to get five or ten divorces or even one? If it is just a peice of paper, some people don't want to get married, but they will never seperate they will take the good and the bad and stay together and if we don't want divorces better stop talking about rapes and spouse abuses and such things right? Because now adays a husband can be held liable for raping his wife and the psychiatric industry and shelters need to keep the funding for rape and spouse abuse shelters going unfortunate as that is.
they want more and more drugs legalized and prostistuion
more and more drugs have been legalized all you have to do is call it a prescription from your doctor and it is legal as it can be, so why not legalize them all or stop the nonsense?
dont you think we have a hard enough time as it is ??
Yeah, I think a lot of people do, so choose your own behavior and have some control over that then next your husband and then your children and stop trying to control the world because you can't and I can't either, and I know that some people are not going to like what I say here, but it is reality and not just me being harsh or telling lies
why make marriage such a small thing
why destry what is supposed to be a great thing?
why is it (cheating/drugs) so acceptable??
can you answer this have you ever had to make any of these decissions? is your marriage good and solid, and everyone in your family away from psychiatric care and doing good, are you out of debt and got what you need? are you really trying to help others the best way that you know how? when you can answer this then you will be farther ahead then most people, then maybe you can get a better response

I think you would do well to spend sometime reading history. There isnt really a lot of difference in today's society and the ones of the past when it comes to fidelity and drug use. We have a tendency to think that the past was a better time but the honest truth is it was not. In the past out society has limited communication and limited discussion on certain topics so we didnt realize how wide spread somethings were. This gives many the general impression that some things simply didnt happen or didnt happen with the same frequency. I will admit that people stayed married more frequently but this was because women didnt have an income and beating your wife was not as frowned upon as it is now, so women stayed married no matter how unhappy they were. People still had affairs, mostly the men because they had the power. If look at the history of our presidents you will find that Bill Clinton is the rule not the exception. The good thing is that I think our society will grow out of this current phase. Marriage is a good idea for most people but we are becoming more accepting of the idea that it is not for every one. We are learning what it takes to make a good marriage. The problem is not liberal society. If you notice religious leaders seem to have the same problems. The primary reason most people limited their sexual activities was fear of pregenancy. I think we have to focus on becoming a more responsible society. Did you realize that most drugs were legal until the beginning of the 20th century or that the U.S. as almost a nation of alcoholics early in our history. Believe me things have gotten better not worse.

The liberals are so concerned with individual "rights" that they are missing the total picture. True happiness for a society depends on boundaries that respect everyone's individuality and puts limits on unacceptable behaviors, like prostitution and drug use. They want to dilute the meaning of marriage because there are some who would make a mockery of the solemn union that it was intended to be, ie; gay marriages. Not at all what was intended when it was instituted. Cheating is not acceptable as it destroys trust, ruining the marriage and causing children to grow up in broken homes. I'm sure the liberals see this as the fault of the narrow-minded partner who couldn't stomach their spouse sleeping around.
It's not just you who feels this way, there are many of us. But evil triumphs when good people do nothing.

You sound like an idiot. I lean more towards the liberal side of issues, and I have been married for 20 years now. I have never seen a marriage fall apart due to sexual immorality or drug abuse. I guess that says more about the type of environments that we live in. After reading your drivel, I am guessing that you drive men to drugs and prostitution.

There is a lack of morals in society and I believe TV is somewhat to cause. TV talks about sex and drugs so casually, that its destroying society as a whole.
I do wish people would remember what marriage is and how wonderful it can be if u honestly commit to it and not allow outside influences make waves in it.
I am a single woman of 39 years old, and I truly loved being married. I always said I would marry again.....but after being out in the single world for 5 years now, I honestly dont know if my mentality will allow me to trust and give myself 100% again out of fear of being betrayed.
Truly sad indeed.

I am going to say yes. Liberals are entirely responsible for the moral decline of western civilization. They love everything that is against God and the traditional family. Look around, I bet you can find liberals causing trouble in just about every moral issue we have.

I think it is just you, and stop blaming liberals for everything. I know tons of liberals who are married and tons that aren't married. I think it has more to do with the fact that children aren't raised properly in today's society. They are given everything and save for nothing. When you are raised like that you don't know what comprise is, and you won't be willing to work on a marriage. Marriage is not always easy, and today many people don't take it very seriously. That's the problem, they treat it like 'lets' go steady' and that doesn't work. It has nothing to do with drugs and secular society.

Don't confuse the term "liberal" with a libertine, those are two different things.
I consider my self liberal and I'm neither a prostitute, nor a swinger or a drug addict or a cheater.
I do believe, however, that inmorality and giving in to drugs, videogames and internet rubish is causing families to fall apart, and it has nothing to do with your political afiliation or religious preference.
Good luck

Wow, you really have a twisted viewpoint about liberals. How many "liberals" do you actually know? And don't Conservatives suffer from moral decay as well? Rush with his drugs and Bill with this sexual harassment suit. Come on, your question is just downright ridiculous and not based in reality.
