The best thing I can suggest is to first get rid of any stimulants you are consuming. That is the most natural way I can think of. Many times excessive anxiety is an issue of using caffeine, chocolates, nicotine and then people want something to stop the over-excitation caused by their consumption. If this is what is happening then use the KISS principle in life.... Keep It Simple Stupid. Another layer of medication to mask what is being caused by behavior always invites more problems.

Make sure you have decent sleeping habits with a quiet room...(quiet from noise and quiet from light sources) If your sleep patterns are disturbed then your reaction to stress and anxiety is amplified again.

Anxiety is worse when you are worried about things you are powerless to control and lack the awareness to know you cannot change this....let go... let God. Don't hold things inside. Let them out and let others know your concerns. Perhaps their experience may help guide you to another path you had not considered to solve your problems...thus relieving the anxiety.

St John's Warts. But nothing should be taken with out the advice of a medical doctor. All natural things can interfere with other medications one may be taking. Also as anything else it may cause side effects.

look into 5-HTP. not sure if it is what you mean by home remedy, but it is over the counter and it is probably safe and has shown some promise in studies.

the best home remedies for anxiety are avoiding unhealthy food and yoga/t'ai chi + vigorous exercise.

caffeine is bad. consider sleep disorders (apnea).

Meditation...You just need a few minutes a day without distractions and a quite space.

I have also just started takin 5-HTP a few days ago....but iam not sure if i feel any results..however still early.
