sally, if you really do want to wear them , then wear them. I think its girly :)) i like them. If you wear them on a long period of time, you'll be used to it. I've been wearing many clothes or outrageous accessories and i always got used to it. Today i wear things that people would have a lot of difficulty to wear because they'd be wondering what people would think about them. Just tell yourself ''i dont care about what people think'', ull have better confidence and be able to really do what you want to do. Anyway there is no way to get into people's head unless you're a psychic and i dont believe in psychic. The challenge is when you first wear it. Hope this helps ;)

feeling embarrassed because of wearing jewelry with hearts is anything but lame
the first thought that came to my mind when i read your question was:
"It's like She's wearing Her Heart on her sleeve!"
I believe why you are embarrassed is because the wearing of hearts betrays how caring you truly are
this is a strength!
allow the wearing of hearts to reinforce your appearance and people will scramble to please
be yourself
pay respectful attention to all of your behaviour
be open to everything and not just figuring out what pleases others
(my wife says: "at a certain age she felt it was childish to wear hearts, because you can relate to going steady and wearing hearts .... and now she regrets not wearing it.")
remember:
style is no substitute for substance
be yourself!

You are embarrassed because you don't feel confident on yourself and you are worrying about what others might think of you. It should NOT be like that. Don't feel ashamed.
