Yes and no. Depending on which country you are in and what country they are coming from. In the US, koi can be imported if the supplier is inspected and certified against a carp virus called spring viremia. With the new laws, fish can die in transit due to the long inspection process. SO if you want to import fish, find a supplier who has experience within 2007 which would be after the new laws took effect.
