The main problem is that I have twins so I do use their names a lot, and they respond to my voice, i'm just not sure when they should start recognizing their own name or if they'll be able to differenciate between the two.

My little one started to recognize her name at about 5 months, I use her name though all the time, I always sing to her Where is Kaelynn? So I think it depends on how much you use your babies name also!

my baby is 6 months old now.. he started responding to his name when he was 3 months old... you have to keep calling out to them n talking to them..
try talking to ur baby n call out his name more often. u will start to notice how ur baby turns his head towards the voice..

i never really took note of when he first responded to his name. he always did have selective hearing, one day he will respond to his name and the next day he would ignore me.
