Hi,

I applied for two nice jobs and yesterday one organisation called me and asked me to attend one last meeting to discuss the contract with them.

The second job contacted me and gave me some positive signs, but nothing firm so far.

I prefer the second one for sure, but I have the meeting tomorrow to negotiate the terms of the contract.

Could you please advice me about what to do....

- Should I tell them about the first job or not?
- How to postpone the decision till I know from the first one?
- What is the best way to negotiate and get good terms?

Thank you very much and please be quick it's gonna be tomorrowwwww...

As part of the negotiation, tell them you need a week to consider their offer.

Contact the second job - let them know you are considering another offer, but that you like this opportunity better, and would like to know where in the process you are.

Companies are used to this - it's okay.

But DON'T tell the one that wants to give you a contract that you are waiting to hear from a company you like better!

Best of luck!

Go with your gut feeling.

If you want the second job take it., Make sure negotiate and get what you want.
