I'm a big fan of Monkey Business and its such a shame. Any other monkey fans out there?

Yeah, it was a great show and its a lovely place to visit. I only heard about it today and I was pretty shocked, condolences to all his family and extended monkey family!

This is so sad. People who do nothing but good in their lives seem to go first. I love the Monkey Business programme on telly and have been to Monkey World a couple of times and adopted a chimp. The fantastic work these people do world wide is largely due to Jim and his wife. If you log on to the Monkey World website they are accepting donations in his memory.

why do the good always go young ??
we are regular visitors to monkey world , and have had the pleasure of meeting jim. and he was just the most passionate person you could ever meet.
i can honestly say that everything about him was genuine, his love for the primates was just unbelievable, but also his love for people and life was unbelievable also.
my sons both try to be the big hard men, but they were both devestated to hear about the passing of jim. but alison will keep the place going because thats what he would have wanted.
we where only saying last week that we needed to go to monkey world as we adopt paddy every year and it has run out and needs re-newing. but its hard to think that we wont be seeing jim running around there anymore, but i am sure his spirt will live on all around the park, and he will be watching over his loyal hairy friends !!!!!!!!

Same as Helz, I only heard about it today. I love the programme and always feel sad when people who do so much for a good cause die young. I got a Monkey World adoption present at Xmas and am looking forward to going there in July- I adopted Rodders for a year! Wish I was as dedicated to a cause as he was. Makes you realise how little we really do with our lives xx
