Would a lightsaber from the Star Wars universe hurt Superman? If so, how badly? Given what we know about the mythology of Star Wars and Superman, I’d like to see some well thought-out answers about how dangerous a lightsaber would be to Superman.

Come on...EVERYONE knows that Superman has only one weakness...KRYPTONITE! Now, if the lightsaber had kryptonite in place of the laser...that would be sure DESTRUCTION! What a fun question! How something so simple can really get the brain thinking! Thanks! That was fun!

someone above said yes...i agree. someone else above, also said that how can laser cut through steel; check it out-if you've read any of the star wars books, you'll know that lightsaber can cut through steel. so, superman, being a man of steel or not, is gonna get sliced. when they said kryptonite is the only thing that can harm superman, star wars wasn't big....they forgot to say he's also vulnerable to a lightsaber.
superman would be diced up like he got hurled on a band saw that has a kryptonite blade, FYI

Yes. Assuming Superman's flesh and bone is of the same consistancy of steel, a lightsaber would most definitely pass through him. There are just a small handful of materials that lightsabers cannot pass through, and supermen isn't one of them.

No it wouldn´t hurt him, but if a lightsaber, with green kryptonite, and a magic spell, well then you have a death superman

Well..... if the only thing that hurts Superman in Kryptonite, then I would have to say unless the light saber was made with Kryptonite, it won't hurt him. I think.........
