I wouldn't call it wrong but you should be VERY careful. The animals in the petstore (im assuming your talking about fish also) are not bred for food. Which means they have been given vaccinations, pet food and other things that may not be good for your body, the meat will probably taste bad too! It is unsafe and unhealthy. You need to become accustomed to living in america and realise that a lot of things that were legal in your country are NOT legal here. I am sure there are a lot of legal issues with eating pets from petstores as well.
Instead, try visiting your country a lot, cook some meals from your culture with things readily accesible at a united states grocery store, listen to music and rent movies. There are many ways you can feel at home without killing innocent animals.

I think most people would find it sick, those are people's pets! But if you buy things like feeder rabbits that are just going to be eaten anyway, I guess I don't have a problem with that. It just depends on what you are getting?

I am going to have to say no. I work with people from assorted countries and they go to the pet store to buy themselves delicacies all the time. To each their own.
