Be careful, take him straight to the vets and get his fleas sorted out. As for his poo, watch what you are feeding him. Fish makes there poo runny, make sure he gets lots of protein, ferret food is best.

I would bring him to the vet- you shouldn't be giving long baths to a ferret anyways- they get cold and sick easily. A 5 min bath is enough time- baths actually dry out their fur as well and make their skin itchier.
Diarrhea can be caused by stress, yes, but it should only be for a day, no more. If it is more than a day, or your ferret seems very weak or sleepier than normal- take it to the vet.
As for your food- Marshalls food is actually pretty low quality. I would get pretty much any other brand of ferret food and switch to that. What you can do is slowly add the dry ferret food and moisten it down with water. My ferret was eating slightly moistened dry food just fine at 9 weeks, and he was on hard food by 12 weeks.

What are you doing about the fleas? On a ferret that young, they can be deadly. The stress caused by them alone can cause diarrhea and if he's scratching until he's bleeding, he's plenty stressed. A bath alone is not going to get rid of them. Get him to a vet. He needs Advantage for the fleas and only a vet is going to be able to assess what is actually causing the diarrhea.

I have a ferret also but I have never seen this problem with her. I do know that wet food tends to give them diarrhea. Maybe you should try some dry food. Marshalls is probably the worst on the market. I would try 8 in 1 Ultra blend select complete nutrition ferret diet. If the problem persists, you should take her to a vet that specializes in treating small animals like ferrets. I hope this helped. Good luck!

It could be stress. The best advice I could give you is call your local vet, explain the situation and see what they say. When I had ferrets, I fed them all Marshalls food but only the dry b/c when I tried them on wet, they all got diarrhea...but every animal is different, even ferrets so check in with your vet, hope this helps and good luck!!

Go back to basics ferrets should be fed fresh meat, whole woodpigeons or rabbits it`s their natural diet. Do not give it milk, fresh clean water is perfect. do not feed every day miss one day a week but make sure they have water. this gives their digestive system time to clear its self out.my kids bath my ferrets but not in the winter they chill and over heat in summer easliy good luck with your new friend thier the funniest pet in the world when they play and the deadliest when they work.
