I am going to be buying my little girl that is 6Month old a convertible car seat soon that you can have it rear facing and front facing. I just want to know what kind people like so it can help me out on my decision. Thank you

I personally prefer the Britax brand. The Marathon is wonderful. It is pricey, but you can use the harness up to 65lbs. The Eddie Bauer seats are nothing more than Cosco brand seats with fancy covers. The 3 in 1 seats are a total ripoff. They will not last a child until 100lbs. The seat is much too short. The Graco Comfort Sport seems like a good deal, but the top harness slots are SHORT. Most outgrow it way before 40lbs. For a budget seat, the Cosco Scenera is great and only $40. The Safety 1st Uptown is super padded and only $80.

I like Eddie Bauer car seats. Big Lots currently has a close out shipment of them for EXCELLENT prices (I asked the manager of our local store, and he says EB changed their fabric pattern for this year, so they got these brand new perfectly safe car seats on close out). I have a different style of Eddie Bauer seat for my son, and I'm considering buying him a new one so that all three match :P. The one I have my eye on is a convertible rear facing, front facing or booster, it goes from 5-100 pounds, and just looks like the safest, most comfortable thing in the world!! We drive a lot, so comfort is definitely a factor.

Good luck!

OH we just LOVE our little girl's car seat! We moved her to a convertable seat about 3 weeks ago (she's 7 months old) and it has worked out GREAT for us. It holds 5-40 lbs rear and forward facing and it's super easy to install and use. We looked at so many really expensive ones (like $150+) and finally found this one, it's adorable and it has great safety ratings too!
