I have encountered a lot of answers to this type of question but I haven't really found a specific answer to mine. You see, my eyes get irritated easily and I hate putting eyeliner on, though I love the effect it has on my eyes afterwards. Can you recommend any eyeliner that's less irritating, easy to put on and waterproof as well?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've noticed that most of you loves Loreal True Match. Can you suggest the right tone for me? I'm Asian but I'm not really brown skinned. I'm more on the lighter side. I can't seem to find the right color that suits me and that will look natural on my skin. My skin looks good, I just want to tone it up a bit.
Thanx for all your help...=)

I am surprised you didn't get more answers. Well, for starters your eye color is what makes the biggest difference as far as colors to use. I assume because you are Asian you have brown eyes, so I will go on all this based on my assumption. If I am wrong then let me know and I will give you alternate colors.
To start let me answer your eyeliner question. I had the same problem until I started using Mary Kay. It doesn't irritate my eyes like many others have. Now it isn't waterproof, but I have a key on how to make it that way. I use a lip primer. I line the lids prior to applying eyeliner. This makes it waterproof.
Okay...for brown eyes (there is a wide selection for you): Sable (dark brown), Violet, Bronze, Charcoal, and Plum.
Now as far as foundation goes I would suggest a color with an olive undertone. If you use Mary Kay's (medium or full coverage) then you will want a color that ends with 02 (they are all numbered) because that means there is an olive undertone. Ther difference between medium and full coverage is that medium is for oily skin, and full is for dry. Med. absorbs oils, while the full helps moisturize skin. All of Mary Kay's foundations are non comedogenic (spelling?) which means they don't clog your pores.
If you are interested, you can go to www.marykay.com and check out all the products. You can then locate a consultant near you easily from the site. You can make arrangements (if you choose) to have that consultant come to you (or you to her) so you can actually try the products before you purchase them. She will help you find a foundation that is perfect and matches your skin tone.
Well I hope this helps you out some. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.

I have noticed that I can't wear a lot of eyeliners anymore either, suddenly they irritate my eyes. One that I do like to wear is from Clinique, it goes on so very smoothly, but is not as cheap as the ones you could buy in a drugstore.
True Match I think you can purchase in smaller bottles, it's very inexpensive and try it out at home to see which color looks the best on you. That's what I did to find the correct color.
But I agree with others, to find a really good foundation for your skintype, I would suggest going to one of the Clinique or Lancome or Prescriptives counters and have them do a makeover. Don't purchase the make-up on the spot though. Go outside to see what it looks like in natural light or get a sample to try out at home. I have done that many times when I had no time for a make-over.
Hope this helps a tad!

I have very senstive eyes and not a huge budget. I absolutely LOVE Avon's glimmerstick eyeliner in Saturn Grey. It doesnt smear into my eyes and make them red. I love this stuff so much, i order 3 at a time.
As far as foundation goes, I love Mary Kays creme-to-poweder foundation. I have uneven skin tone, and this goes on lightly with a finish like a powder, but covers up my imperfections. Check out their website at marykay.com and look under makeup, foundations, creme-to-powder so you can see all the colors.

Im also asian and i am on the lighter side as well. I love Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye pencil. Its easy to put on because you only put a slight effort and its alreadt there and it doesnt irritate my eyes. I think they hav waterproof eyeliner as well. I like Shishiedo foundation because it stays for many hours without retouches.

Best Foundation: Bare Minerals (I use Fairly Light)
Best Eyeliner: Liquid - Bourjois Paris - Liner Pinceau (Sephora recommends this as the best, no matter which store I go into)
Solid - There are sooo many! They're all pretty much the same from Wet & Wild to Urban Decay.. currently I'm trying out L'Oreal H.I.P. and its pretty good

I can't answer the foundation part of the question, I've never used it... I prefer MAC Studio Fix Fluid w/ bulit-in SPF 15, but that's not what you wanted to know.
I use MAC eye kohl in Smolder. I have sensitive eyes as well and this has never irritated them. It's not waterproof but it will stay on a very, very long time.

my fave eyeliner is revlon colorstay. its easy to draw and put on, doesn't smudge even if you go clubbing the whole night and easy to remove with any makeup remover. for me loreal true match is ok but i love the gel formed maybelline's foundation.

I know that Mary Kay has good eyeliners that don't irritate your eyes. They are pretty good and are recommended for people who have sensitive eyes.
