has anybody used the new online pc repair site called INTELLIFIX.apparently they can fix pcs over the phone by taking over your keyboard? thanks

You'd be better off going to PCPitStop.com, they've been around for years. That site will scan your PC for free and inform you about what's going on in regards to what performance, repair needs, and clean-up are necessary. I've been using that site for quite some time now. They are non-bogus.

This is nothing new. Its called Remote Access and has been built into Windows XP for years. If I recall correctly Windows 2000 had Remote Access as well.

Only recently, companies have developed systems and protocols such as not to expose themselves to the legal risks of their employee's tinkering with a customer's computer.

that must be for minor software problems since i dought that they can replace a motherboard over the phone on your keyboard... or get in to the bios remotly
