Not one little bit. He is taking all the kudos, but most of these budget cuts what ever you want to call them will not come into operation until he has left his post and some other chancellor will have to pick up the pieces of his fiscal spending.
Already I feel that we have another one who is taking the 'Mick' out of us plebs. He is certainly not helping the small business man. Cutting corporate tax by 2% and increasing small business tax by 40%.
This country of ours that has thrived because of the small business man throughout the ages will no more they will be even more discouraged by this tax. And who can blame them if they pack up and move elsewhere. There are many european countries that would welcome them with open arms
No I'm not fooled by that sickly fat grin!

A 2p cut in the basic rate sounds good, but he is abolishing the 10% rate, which means all tax will start at 20% a rise of 10% for the lowest paid, and an additional 10% on the first level of taxable income. Some cut!!

He stood there, smirking, and presented this Budget as a tax cutting one. It is anything but because he has grabbed back, with interest, everything he has given. He's just as much a liar and a spin merchant as the rest of them. This budget will not help the majority at all.

I'm such a cynic but I think it's a publicity stunt just before he becomes the next Prime Minister. I saw on the news at lunchtime how they went on and on about him giving more money to schools, NHS etc but they didn't go on too much about the negatives which I presume as always are drinking & smoking & petrol. He needs to get people on his side before he gets to No 10!

Government hand outs and benefits, are veiled entrapment. There are very difficult to break away from. Once your in the trap, you've no choice but to vote for the party of taxation, because you see that as your means to more.

No, its all spin.
He did nothing for me at all, except putting a 1p on a pint. Also he announced all these tax cuts but nothing that applies to me.
I wanted him to extend working tax credits for part time workers.
