We are going to myrtle beach early in the season (end of this month), so swimming in the ocean is out all though we will spend time on the beach. I have 3 kids ages 12, 10, & 9. We are looking for a cheap easy yet fun way to fill 3 days there. I know the obvious is dinner shows (which after 1 night that would be most of our budget), the ripley's aquarium, shopping, & that there is tons of mini golf. Does any one who lives there or vacations there often have any ideas to make this a great time for the kids but I wont have to sell my car to afford?

I have 3 small boys and they love Myrtle Beach. They enjoy playing in the sand of course. There are many things to do at MB, within a budget. I would suggest Broadway at the Beach. There you can dine, shop, and visit attractions such as Ripleys Aquarium ,and Putt Putt Golf. I know that Family Kingdom opens on March 31st, that would be fun for the kids. You could also vistit Barefoot Landing, it is basically the same as Broadway, but with different shops and restaurants. At Barefoot, I would definetley go to Mirror Maze, it is so fun, and very cheap, maybe even around $5 for the family.Enjoy!!!

i live in charleston sc and i have only been to myrtle beach once but i know their is a water park that suppose to be really nice and ripleys aquarium is awesome they have a conveyer belt that you ride on and the aquarium is all around you, you have fish swimming above your head and you can pet stingrays. The aquarium is a must its ten times better than the one we have in Charleston.
