When people stop laughing. Most comedians (where a professional or just some who thinks they funny) do their routine because they like the attention. If everyone that hears the racial joke doesn't laugh and walks away, the comedian will stop telling.

To me, the stopping of racial goes both ways. Why is it okay for a black comedians to make jokes about the black and white people? But when a white comedian tells a joke about black people it is called a racial joke?

If you ban racial jokes, then ALL racial jokes should banned.

With any joke being told if it becomes very hurtful and offensive its just not funny at all. There is a very fine line when racial jokes are told and whether to laugh or not. Just dont take yourself too seriously every race has a certain joke behind them. We all laugh at ourselves

I guess some of us are just saddistac and ignorant, or just don't have any hang-up's about it. I think most racial jokes are funny as long as the person you are telling the joke to is laughing too. The father of my child and I go back and forth play fighting. He's from India, and I'm American. You name it, we've said it to eachother. We flirt that way at times. I guess, kind of like 3rd graders that are mean to eachother because we like eachother. When I was in cosmotolgy school all the black girls called me "Super Honkey". I didn't get mad. I just played it up by using my smock as a cape and flying through the school. They tried to teach me how to talk cool, and I just ended up sounding like a southern bell with a severe learning disorder. Have fun with life. There's no sense in getting upset about it because it will never change. The father of my child has his days where he calls me white American bi'ch too much, but I have my days where I can't wait for him to say something wrong and screw up the English lanuage in a way Borat couldn't even come up with, just to turn around and make fun of him to our mutual friends. Everyone's sense of humor is so different. Some of us don't have any boundries with it. Sorry.

but there is a lot of racism in the world. and that will probably never end completely. whether they are funny to the more intelligent people or not, people will still tell them. and someone will laugh.
