I am 7 weeks pregnant and this is my second pregnancy and yesterday in the night i was bleeding but very light not like bright blood,felt bloated, and gas pains. I already called my ob nurse and she said to stay on bed rest today and call back at 9 to talk to my doctor! please tell me this is normal because i am totally freaking out!this never happened on my first pregnancy! :-(

i just talked to my doctor and he said to monitor my my blleding incase i start bleeding again and if i do then it's a sign i am probably having a miscarriage wow that did not help! but so far i am thinking positive the bledding has stop and i just feel bloated! i talked to my mom and she said she bled a lil when she was pregnant with us! so that gave me comfort! well i will saty in bed today and see how everything goes!

Don't freak out, you need to relax. A little bit of bleeding happens sometimes. Bed rest is best for now, and please try to relax. Take lots of deep breaths, rub your belly, think loving positive thoughts, imagining the baby is wonderfully healthy, robust, and strong, and so are you. Don't get dehydrated, take your prenatal vitamins, and pamper yourself. (except for a hot bath, do not do that) I wish you all the best, take care.

I have heard of it happening in the first few weeks of pregnancy. I never bled when I was pregnant w/ my daughter. I had a miscarriage 4 years ago and when I began to bleed it was heavy.........but I'd still want to SEE a doctor, not lay around worrying!

Did you have sex in the past 48 hours?? that could have done it .. my OB said its like scratching the inside of your nose .. nothing to worry about!
I also, had bleeding because I had a low lying placenta (@15 weeks) .. but would stay on bed rest and LAY ON MY LEFT SIDE .. and it eventually went away.
I am now 24 weeks pregnant with a very healthy, very active baby boy!
** be sure to stay on your LEFT side!! **
(it might also be a sign of a bladder infection / urinary track infection)
* just be sure to have the doctor check that too!*

First of relax and stay in bed, is the bleeding still continuing cause if so i would advice you to go to the hospital...i went through the same thing last year and sadly i lost my baby..but now iam currently 16 weeks pregnant and very happy...just relax!!!

Your nurse is going to explain everything to you. This happened to me, i was spotting and after i went to the doctor it soon went away! yOU WILL BE FINE! Jus pray,but it is normal 4 a few women so do not worry. If bleeding gets heavy then contact doc again.

No it is not normal to bleed and she is right stay on bed rest and monitor if you bleed any heavier, I am an R.N. also
