I'm ordering my wife something for her birthday on eBay. I have a Pay Pal account and the address registered on my Pay Pal account is the same as the address on my credit card which is, of course, my home address. I don't want her gift to come to our house becuase I want it to be a surprise. Instead I'd like to have it shipped to a UPS Store which, of course, has a DIFFERENT address. Can I have my merchandise sent to a different address or does it HAVE to be to the address listed on Pay Pal and my credit card?

You will have to ask the seller. Some sellers will only send to Paypal confirmed address, others will be willing to send it elsewhere. Just ask the seller.

This options is up to the seller, they have the option to ship only to confirmed Paypal addresses, or allow the buyer to specify an address. Normally any restrictions are displayed within the auction to let the buyer know before bidding but I have found this is not always the case, as I to prefer to have items shipped to my work address yet my Paypal confirmed address is my home address.

That is up to the seller. Contact the seller before you bid, asking if they will ship to an address other than your paypal address. Some will, some won't. Use the "ask seller a question" link and ask the seller before you bid.

Tell the seller what you are doing. Most of them will be willing to do that, as it becomes your responsibility if the shipment can't be found or traced. In this case, I'd add insurance to the shipment to be sure you can trace it if it doesn't arrive at its destination.

Yah but you have to change it on ebay and on pay pal to the adress.
