The good news. Pregnancy will be cured in 9 months.

Throwing up usually only last for the first 12 weeks -- you are close to the end of this. Drink lots of water (8 glasses per day) to ensure you do not dehydrate.

You are throwing up because of the rampant hormones in your body. I got spoiled with my first pregnancy--my morning sickness wasn't bad at all. This time around, I was nearly incapacitated for the entire first trimester!!

For most women, morning sickness goes away during the second trimester. For some it takes longer.

If you can't hold anything down, you should talk to your doctor about remedies. Home remedies include eating small, frequent meals so that your stomach is never empty or full, and eating bland foods that are less likely to irritate your stomach (such as toast or crackers). Your doctor can also prescribe something to help, or may give approval for you to take a combination of B-6 and unisom (get your doctor's approval first, as every drug treatment I've found for morning sickness also makes me sleepy). A couple of women I know actually end up in the hospital due to morning sickness--they didn't want to take medications, but became dehydrated.

Talk to your doctor--they've been there before, and will have their own tried-and-true remedies.

Good luck, and congratz on your pregnancy!

I had the same issues with each of my three pregnancies. My sister-in-law- is now pregnant and going through the same.... My best advise is to eat a few plain crackers in the morning before you even get out of bed. I kept the crackers on my night stand and every morning had 2 or 3 before my feet even touched the floor! Try eating starchy carb rich foods. This seems to help settle the stomach. Also, peppermint good for stomach upset. I ate York Peppermint patties and it helped a lot! It will more than likely get better at the beginning of your second trimester! Good Luck and Best Wishes!
There is an old wives tale that says the more difficult the pregnancy - the easier the baby!!!!!!!!!

I feel your pain. i was nauseous until I was in my 7th month! I really didn't throw up much because I couldn't even stomach getting the food down in the first place. I couldn't even walk by cooking food without heaving. I had a steady diet of pre-natal vitamins, crackers, tea, water and juice. Yum! Don't know when it will stop for you...everyone is different. There really isn't a cure. Just try to keep saltines handy. Also, try eating a few before you even get out of bed in the morning. (btw, I was morning sick all day long!)

The only consolation was that I only gained 19 lbs start to finish, and most importantly, had a beautiful, completely healthy 9.8lb baby when it was all over! Talk with your doctor and make sure he/she knows your issue.

Good luck!

Sorry hon you'll be tossing your cookies until about 12 weeks. BUT think of it as a good sign that the baby is healthy because your body is doing exactly what its supposed to do during this time. The hormone swings are making you nauseated, and that's a good thing.....as much as it doesn't feel like it I know. Try to eat lots of small snacks instead of meals, sips of liquids throughout the day. Munching on soda crackers helps. I found fruit went down well, but not greasy foods....sometimes the smells of cooking can worsen it so try fresh fruit and veggies. Good luck sweetie.

if you throw up every time you eat then you should go to the doctor, it can cause you get not get the right nutrients to your baby....

dont wait until youre really hungry to eat, because once you eat you will most likely throw up!!

drink a glass of milk even if you hate it, it will coat your stomach and keep the acids calm down and ease your nausea...

dont drink juice often until youre not throwing up anymore... because it will make you throw up!!!

eat a lot of smalls meals through out the day, or snacks...

and as far as how long it lasts, my morning sickness went away around 10 wks, its supposed to taper off around 12 wks for most women, but sometimes you can have your whole pregnancy. so good luck!

Well there is limited things you can do.. but you can call your doctor and ask him if it is ok for you to take 1/2 a tablet of unisom and a B6 vitamin this can help alot with morning sickness. But please make sure your doctor okays it first. Good luck. Also.. some say ginger ale and saltines can ease your stomach too.

It is morning sickness and usually is gone by the end of the third month. Even after that time I could not face a glass of tomato juice although I could eat almost any thing else.

Morning sickness USUALLY goes away by about the 3 month of pregnancy. Hang in there.
Believe it or not your appetite will get better and the morning sickness will stop.
