I have a co-worker who is always telling me and people around she thought of that, or she taught someone that. Or she made store plan. And it goes on and on. Is it a plan or something or some kind of deep insecurity. And do most people despise it like I do?

You may perceive bragging as giving advise. If you buy new sneakers and paid 100.00 and your co worker comes in with the same pair and paid 60.00 that is not bragging. I tell people they are nuts to pay full price, and some of them say "dam" I should have waited or looked around more. I have finally taught my daughter in law a few shopping tips and she is saving time and money. However, if someone comes in and says I just bought a Mercedes, you can speak up and say hey my Geo gets me from point A-B just as good as your Mercedes. When a person says " oh my Mercedes has to go in for a check up " that is bragging. People that refer to the car by name are showing off. If they say my car needs to go in that is not bragging.
If this really is bragging and gets to far out of hand simply say
"well you have made your point, you are perfect, so no need to tell me anymore"
or 'when I am as perfect as you are , then I will let everyone know like you do"
Sometimes a good one liner is a good slap in the reality face to bring people back down to earth.
