The best adhesive tape for car interiors?

I have tried everything to mount a 3 power supply adapter on my dash. I have used 3M double sided tape, and the crap it came with. Nothing worked. I cleaned the dash with alcohol wipes and everything. I really dont want to screw it into my dash, so if anybody has any suggestions. Please help.

Go to local hardware store and buy those shower hooks with the sticky pads for mounting. Throw away the hooks, and use the sticky pads.

what about velcro,can you use that?
