I have been thinking of applying for a job with one of the banks in their private banking career line but I would like to hear from those who know or have worked in the private banking line before as I do not have much knowleged in this field.

I have experience in banking.

Most banks will start you at the teller line if you have never had banking classes. This requires that you are good at math in general and they will probably test you in math.

This is a good career because most banks will offer classes to take at night and pay for them. Once you have completed classes, you can apply for higher paying jobs.

A lot of banks will pay a 'bonus' for bringing loans into the bank. So work on your 'sales' skills - smiling, helpfullness, speaking up and asking questions of your customers. This can add some real cha-ching.

Good luck!
