My husband and I have pretty much narrowed our list of first names down to 2: Camryn and Sidney (it's a girl). But, we are having a hard time picking a middle name to go with these first names. Any suggestions? I'm really not into the "traditional" middle names that everyone has (Ann(e), Lyn(n), Elizabeth, etc.) and no matter what others tell me, I believe the middle name is as significant as the first! Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Love Camryn. Are there any ancestors with v cool old names? How about a mix of the two grandmother's names?

I think with a two syllable first name, its best to use a 1 or 3 syllable middle name, sounds more harmonious.

What about a cultural twist on a traditional name.....like check out a north american name you like, but the way they pronounced and spelled it in your great grandparents old country.

Hi I love the name Camryn (i have a cousin named Cameron-but he's a boy) but anyway, I think that "Camryn Lashae'" is cute. or " Camryn Zakia" (Zakia means beautiful in african) or if you choose sydney how about "Sydney Mykelle" or "Camryn Mykelle" or "Sydney Lashae'" or "Sydney Zakia" thats about all i can think of right now. if these are of no help to you and you need more suggestions just email me. congradulations on the baby!!!

I would say since both names you have chosen are 2 syllables the middle name should avoid the 2 syllable thing.... especially depending on your last name!

Grace (goes with both).... not that this is the name you should chose, but it seems to flow with a longer first name!

Good Luck!

camryn alise, elise, lacy,
sidney marey' (ma-rey),michelle, dannielle
the choice is ultimately up to you and your husband, gu with whatever you and him like. Or wait until you see her something may just come to mind. Or she may not look like the name you have chosen for her before birth.
Good luck
