Ok ppl out there on yahoo... i have a problem @ school and need some advice. My problem is the ppl pick on me almost everyday and i dont know what to do. My dad says "punch them in the chin", but that will only cause more problems(as fun as it sounds). My mom says "tell them to stop" but then they know its bothering you so they continue to do it and if i ignore them then they still do it and... if i turn them in then they wil figure out its me and the prosses will start all over. Some of you might say avoid them all together but they come to me... before school starts, at passing period, brunch, lunch and even after school. so ias you can clearly see i have goten myself in a very unplesent situation... :(

I would probably use humor or sarcasm to deal with them. If they bother you say "Did you forget to ask me if I care" or something flip, if you can best them with your brain you can beat them. When they make a smart remark come back with "Are you tired? because you must have been up all night thinking that one up".

One time at school a really huge guy passed next to me and stared me down very angrily and I was so scared. I didn't do anything or even talk to him before and didn't know what was going on. I thought what to do constantly and finally I decided the best thing to do was to have a conversation with him and ask politely what the problem was. I concluded the worst thing that could happen was a fight and that option was there anyway and I thought i had nothing to lose so I did talk to him. I couldn't believe it when I asked him if I did something wrong this huge guy melted and apologized to me and said no you didn't do anything I was just upset that day at something else.

For you, I would say to try to determine what the guy is having trouble with. He is probably jealous. If you make an attempt to be his friend or act mature he may give in and consider you a better person and stop messing with you. IF that don't work some people just need to see that you are not afraid to fight him.

I had the same problem, but as it turned out it made me a better person because i am very sensitive to others and i turned out pretty hot! Just ignore it,and violence is not the key, but u have permission from your dad and a good uppercut would keep their hands off of you. Just dont throw the 1st punch!

i would say, start off, by taking a different route to your classes. if they meet you at your locker, then only go to your locker ever other class, or carry your books, in your book bag.

second, stand up for your self. when they say something, just say something back. (you didnt say what they were picking on you for, so i cant give real things to say here, but............)

lets say they say,
"what are you, a little sissy girl? have to watch your back while you are in the hall way?"
you say
"no, i am not a sissy girl, but you, you are an a*s hole."

get in their face about it. let them know, that you are not backing down. then, if you get in trouble for cusing at them, they know that you are serious. but try to avoid that. (the getting in trouble part)

if they say something like
"you dress like a ******"
you say
" Im not the one checking out other guys clothes."

just have a good come back.

good luck
