paper stretch,papers grain on offset printing?

sometime when offset printing is process it occur paper stretch on some paper WHY? and how to soft it

the paper stretching during printing depends on a few factors,
1) the type of paper, coated, vs similie paper,
2) the size, A4 or A0 size, single side printing or double sided printing
3)single pass(on a 4 color press vs single color machine)
4)rotary cut or ream cut, etc, etc
5)the packings under the blanket & your offset plates
6) the pressure adjustment betewwn the 3 rollers the plate, blanket & pressure

usually it is printing along the grain rather than across the grain,
