Sounds like the only time she can get your attention. Try doing other things with her. She shouldn't be eating solids at this age anyway...so you probably won't listen to what I have to say if you ignore your doctor and 99% of the medical community already. But you asked and that's my advice.

all babies around that age are the same way. All my nieces and nephews have done it and so does my daughter who is 6 months.
Right now she should be eating either 8 ounces of formula/breast milk every 4 hours or 6 every 3 hours.
Every baby is different. If she still seems hungry try putting rice cereal in her bottle. And if you haven't considered substituting with solids, you might want to try that. I know that my daughter throws a fit if i eat something with whipped cream and she doesn't get any.
Try a few of these and if you still have worries, by all means don't be afraid to talk to your doctor. I would say that if she's not vomitting or spitting up a lot of the food you give her after feedings, then she just needs more food than other babies you may know.
In the end it's your MATERNAL INSTINCT that has to win out, not our opinions.
GOOD LUCK HUN!!

I think you should talk to your doctor. No one knows better than a ped, most times. My son has been on single-grain rice cereal since he was 3 weeks old. He was just soooo hungry. The dr suggested I put in a teaspoon of cereal in a 4 ounce bottle 3 times a day. And it worked. He was finally satisfied. He still takes the 1 tsp of cereal now (3 months old), in a 6-7 ounce bottle, but I usually feed the cereal to him from a spoon instead of the bottle like the first 2 1/2 months. I know a lot of people say not to do the cereal until later, but I don't agree. Some babies are just more hungry than others. What's good for one baby might not be for another. I always look to my mom for advice. (She raised 4 of us, plus her 3 younger brothers) She also had all of us on cereal by a month, because we were just hungry. And we all turned out just fine. And none of us are overweight and never were. (I'm sure that would be in the minds of the 'non-cereal people'. My first son didn't start cereal until he was 4 months old, however, because he was fine with just the formula. Plus he had acid reflux and a milk protein allergy. (Like I said, every baby is different. Even if they come from the same mom).
Talk to your doctor. They'll know best. But I think at least to start out with 1 tsp of cereal 3 times a day is fine. The way I think of it, too, is that they're just getting more nutrients, vitamins and minerals if you add cereal. No harm in that!

Solids should not be put in a bottle. If he won't be in a position to consume it from a spoon, he's not waiting for it. remember that for the 1st 12 months, babies get all the nutrients they like from breast milk/formula. Any solids are purely for prepare. while you're worried that your infant won't be in a position to consume from a spoon, point out it to your pediatrician. until then, carry on with bottles of formula - no solids further.

I wouldn't feed her what you're eating--she's only five months old, her body can't handle adult foods yet. However, perhaps milk isn't filling her up anymore. You could try giving her some rice cereal and see if that helps--my son went through a similar stage at that age, nursing almost constantly until I was physically ill. We added rice cereal (mixed with expressed breast milk or water) to his diet and suddenly, he had a normal appetite again.
As long as your baby is growing normally and eating age-appropriate foods, then you should let her eat as much as she wants. If she begins to gain a lot of weight or if someone is feeding her 'adult' foods that her body is not ready for, then you should consult with her pediatrician as soon as possible.

Probably just a growth spurt, let her eat!
Babies can't be greedy and won't eat just for the sake of it, they haven't learnt things like that yet
