Laptop screen blacking out after repairs?

Question

I recently cracked the screen of my laptop and had it replaced under warranty...but now, the screen will periodically turn black for a few seconds. Usually it will come back up if I press some keys. I know it isn't in hibernation because it happens while I'm doing something (it blacked out twice while I was typing this question). Should I go back to the place I got it fixed?

This is caused by the computers hardware not being updated with the fix; (happened to me)
take it back and let them fix it or it will be worse
