Michael Moore, like any famous person or elected official, is contacted my many people who would like a moment of his very limited time. Before you request to meet with him, ask yourself what you have to offer him and why is it better (for him) than all the other offers for meetings he must turn down. Make sure any communication with him is short (less than one page) and clearly state what you want from him. When he or his staff gets your letter, they will ask:

1. Is this person's request helpful to Mr. Moore?
2. Is this person a nutcase?

Try dangling a raw pork chop from a string. That should get his attention.
