a dipole is a permanent partial charge on one side of a molecular bond

An electric dipole is a separation of electrical charge, with one part being positive and the other negative. It's useful when describing the effects of charge separation in molecules even though the distances between the two charges are so small as to be difficult to measure, and tends to occur in molecules where the constituents have very disparate electronegativity, (affinity for electrons,) like HCl.

A magnetic dipole is the effect of circulating current in a loop, and for a small enough current loop, looks very much like an electric dipole with lines of magnetism instead of lines of electric potential. Dipoles are much more important in magnetism since you rarely encounter a magnetic MONOPOLE. (Electric monopoles are quite common: electrons, protons, a balloon you rub on your hair, etc...) On the other hand, almost every atom and molecule has a magnetic dipole, as well as a garden-variety bar magnet you get at a hobby store:

One of the things that prevents the earth from getting it's atmosphere ripped away by the solar wind is the earth's dipole magnetic field:

A Dipole, something with both a North and South Pole i.e. the Earth, resulting in a magnetic field.

A Monopole, something with only one pole - theoretically possible but has never been discovered.

a magnet is called dipole

two equal opposite charges separated by a small distance.....
something like CH3Cl...
it is polar.
so equal and opposite charges are induced..
so thisis a dipole..
