There are a few that definitely get him the votes. One, there is the websites that encourage those against American Idol to vote for Sanjaya because he is vocally the worst singer. Along with those votes, he also does have a very young following as was pretty much indicated last night with the little girl crying just to meet him. Third, he had a following when there was his introduction and his sister sang first, then he came in and the judges said he was better than the sister. Little images like that stick in the brain and I hate to say it, but he might be sticking around a couple more weeks.

Howard Stern and votefortheworst.com have teamed up and have launched a campain to keep him on the show. They want to sabotage the voting to see if the producers on the show cook the books and eliminate the people that they don't want as the American Idol. There have been rumors that he actually got more votes and that he wasn't suppossed to be in the bottom 3 last week. I'm torn about this, this guy really sucks but it would really be funny if he became the winner due to their involvement.

jeremyZ may be right. i just leave the room when he's on. but you do have to wonder.....Simon keeps saying that it's a singing competition. if that's really the case, i'm not sure why he even made it into the top 12, let alone the top 24. fox and idol must be loving this stuff, however....makes for great ratings!
