I worked for a company about 5 years ago.. well I got fired due to poor attendance, and was considered "inelgibile" for re-hire... I tried to apply about 3 years ago and had an interview but she said maybe later on. Well it's been 2 years, I am almost done with college and wanted to go back and work there, to try to get into management.

So my question.. if I was fired, STILL inelgible for rehire a few years ago.. would I still have a shot? Or just forget about it?

I was 18 at the time.. I'm going on 23, maybe that'll help?

If you were fired from this job once before, why would you want to go back? That makes no sense.

My policy at work is that I NEVER rehire someone that I fired, especially if I fired them for being unreliable like you were. Move on and find a job where you have no negative history. Sometimes you just have to start fresh. Good Luck.
