1-because they are pacifist, would they be exempt from a military draft?

2-When they speak english, do they speak with a germanic accent or do they sound like typical east coast americans?

I think they claim conciencous objection, yes

THey are originally German immigrants, but since they tend to stay appart they sitll have a German accent

They are exempt from a lot of things. I don't think they take a social security number or anything, but I have heard that the government gives them less leeway than in the past, but I don't think they get drafted, yet. When they speak English, they do speak with an accent, but I have not heard the ones in Pennsylvania, only Oklahoma and Iowa.
