i've been watching old episodes of takeshie's castle, and no one ever seems to win, has anyone ever won, and what was their prize?

i saw someone win and there prize was a mini!!! never worth the hastle!!!

They do win occasionally, and I've seen at least one episode where they've won but Craig Charles didn't even notice, I think he gets too used to saying "no winners this time" lol.
The editing is such that even when they do win it cuts to the credits and you don't see them getting their prize.
I seem to remember one episode where at the end they were all holding up envelopes after winning, I assume they contained money (apparently 1 million yen [~£5000 at the time].
According to the Takeshi's Castle Fan Site "As it was so difficult to defeat Takeshi, there had to be another prize. The 'Fighting Sprit Prize' was 10,000 Yen and was awarded to the contestant who showed the most determination to beat Takeshi and to storm the castle."

Saw someone win 2 weeks ago, i was very dissapointed, they got nothing.... bit of a let down really when you consider how difficult it is. They may still get something but it might not be shown on the edit for Challenge TV, but the Japanese version might show this

They do on MXC, but now that is all made up from the clips of takeshis.

my boyfriend watches this show, one person has won, from his recollection.but they actually won nothing!!
i think the prize is just actually completing the dam thing!!!

I've seen people win. I was so excited to see what the prize was. It was NOTHING - SO DISAPPOINTING!!! What's the point?

I've never seen anyone one win, but the games are near impossible so i would be supprised if anyone has.

my grandson, Rio, who is 4, loves that, my daughter got her dad to put it on a disc so he can watch it when he wants !!!!
