I have a bunch of old dresses from when I was in high school. Does anyone know where a good place to sell them is? (other than Ebay)

Well, I don't know about any website other than the e-bay but you can sell your old clothes to those people who take your clothes and give you some other articles. Here I saw that women and men generally exchange new items such as tubs and containers for your old clothes.

What about donating them? Isn't that a better idea? you can find any poor girls in the school or in the colonies near yours. Just give them away and get blessed too!

Wow! That will be a great deal indeed!

I have found that craigs list is a great place to sell just about anything. Be descriptive, honest and ask a fair price. They will sell. Just put the www before the craigs, that is if you havent already been there. Good luck.

Do an internet search for consignment shops in your area. Once they take them they do all of the work and tell you when you come pick up you cash. It can take a while but they are no longer taking up space in your closets.

There are specialty consignment shops and formal wear usually goes over pretty well if it is not dated.

I usually take mine to Plato's Closet. It's a resale shop for teens, also, there are a lot of charities that donate prom dresses, etc. I'm sure there are some in your area and now is the perfect time because prom season is getting underway.

A consignment shop can charge up to 60% of the asking price(for their commission). If you are not too concerned about money you can donate them at a local high school for girls who cannot afford one, I am in Wichita and we have "GOWN TOWN" to help with this they help hundreds of girls every year.
