Thrush is a yeast infection of the mouth. A yeast infection of the vagina is simply called a yeast infection.
Some discharge is normal in between periods especially at time of ovulation but since you are expressing some concern in regards to this discharge I would assume it is not your "usual".
If you've had thrush before and you were with the same partner at the time I would feel safe in my assumption that this discharge is related to your partner still being a "carrier". You both should be treated. If use of an over the counter product such as Monostat-7 (one box for each of you) doesn't clear it up (guys would just apply the product on their genitals not INSIDE) then I would recommend that you have a check up by your OB/Gyne physician.
Best of luck to you.

I dont think that is an obvious sign of pregnancy. White discharge is fairly normal in some people. Being on the pill can increase the discharge.
When you were treated for thrush he should have been treated too as he may be re-infecting you?
If it keeps occuring ask your nurse to do a high vaginal swab to check for infection.
You can treat thrush by yourself by going to the chemist and purchasing some Canestan cream or pessary for yourself and cream for him.

HI there,
It's difficult to tell, but, it's alway safer to be cautious.. ANY discharge should be investigated by your GP or local G.U.M. dept.. It's not likely to be pregnancy!
(I wouldn't be worried, its very likely to be something that is easy to fix)
I would recommend that you practise safe sex untill your GP gives you the all clear.. (There is no point in passing the problem onto your boyfriend, who would of course pass it back and so on..causing a long lasting problem!)
Hope this helps..
P.s. If you were having unprotected sex when your boyfriend noticed the discharge, he really should get checked out too..

After sex there can be 2 reasons for discharge.
!) is normal, it is the semen draining from your vagina.
2) is not normal, a whitish mucus is usually caused by a vaginal infection - you would need to treat it with medication - see your Dr.

Anything could be happening. You might have thrush, or some other vaginal infection. You might be pregnant, but you won't know that until your period is late and your test is positive. Go see your GP.

A white discharge is perfectly normal. It's the coloured ones you need to worry about.
