Well, it's normal to visibly gain weight any time that you ARE gaining weight. I think you are only "supposed" to gain 3-5 pounds in the first trimester, but if you were underweight to begin with this doesn't apply to you. As long as you are eating healthily and getting some light exercise, don't sweat it.

I haven't gained any actual pounds in the first trimester (actually lost quite a bit with all the puking), but my tummy is noticably rounder at almost 13 weeks. People on the street may not know I'm preggers, but I definitely look like I had a large dinner or something.

Check with your doctor if you are concerned about your weight. Some people gain a little in the first trimester and some lose a little. As long as you are eating a variety of healthful foods and taking your prenatal vitamins, you should be fine.

Yes, I always do, but watch what you are eating. You do not need to eat more in your first trimester.

I hope so, I did with all 3 of mine! had to unzip pants and tuck them under by 2 months. At 4 months it was completely maturnity clothes!!

some people lose some gain...should gain about 20-30 lbs during your pregnancy....if you gain a lot suddenly talk to your doctor about it...it could be an issue....good luck.

I am 11 weeks and already in maternity pants... mine were just very uncomfortable. Everybody is different. Congratulations, and best of luck.

if its your 2nd pregnancy or more no its normal according to baby center.com you can show as early as 6 weeks if this is not your first baby..
