I love Sonic as a character but I like Shadow more due to his anti-hero and a mysterious attitude. You never know what he thinks, and to be honest, I can relate to Shadow in a way. I know I'm overthinking this a bunch, but I just like Shadow more. I even tolerate his game "Shadow the Hedgehog"

Sonic, from the moment he was released gaming was never the same. Shadow is ok, but he wouldn't be here is sonic hadn't paved the way for such hedgehog gaming character's.

Shadow was the worst move in Sonic history. You have to thank Sonic team for that blunder. They thought that making a badass looking hedgehog with military weapons and black and red skin would actually help them sell games. Too bad they realized that people aren't dumb.

Shadow's pretty cool, but Sega has done weird things to his character. I don't like him as much as I did in SA2B.
So I prefer Sonic.
However, Knuckles is my favorite character in the Sonic Universe.

Shadow fan myself (in case you couldn't tell from my avatar). I like Sonic, but Shadow just has that don't care attitude. Sega needs to carry him back to bad guy status.

Sonic FTW, Shadow was a lame marketing ploy to try and be angsty and have a gun. He just doesnt make sense in the Sonic universe.

i love sonic he is the original so nobody can stand to him he is on a class of his own but i love shadow he is really cool!!!
