I'm scared too. My husband and I started TTC a month ago, and I have irregular periods. I went to my general doc who seemed pretty concerned, and sent me for blood work as well as making an appointment with an OBGYN to see about medication, like you had mentioned. I haven't had my period for over three months, and I am not pregnant. I'm really afraid that I have PCOS!!

I'm sorry the medication isn't making you feel well. I have been trying to concentrate on the reward for what I (we're) going through in order to get pregnant. Keep your chin up, and do your very best to remain possitive. I mentioned my fears of PCOS, and my doc made sure to tell me that plenty of women get pregnant with PCOS, it just sometimes means that it takes a little more time and some medical intervention to do so.

You'll get there!

Good luck!!!!

I'm 18 1/2 weeks now and I have PCOS. I'm not typical, not overweight, hava a beard (lol) or anything so don't let anyone stereo type it. Provera made me sick too. I was EXTREAMLY moody when I took it. When you go to a specialist ask if you can be put on Letrozole instead of clomid. Clomid is the 1st step in infertillity. Letrozole is the same "level" yet it doesn't thin your uternine lining like clomid does. Both are just a pill that you take days 3 - 7 of your cycle so it's not a big deal. They both made me ovulate but I got pregant the 1st time taking letrozole!

Got pregnant w/ 1st round of clomid... miscarried at 8 weeks

Now pregnant from 1st round of letrozle. Very healthy baby thus far! It's a girl...

Took 7 months b/t once we figured out to use letrozole... it's also known as femara.

Best of luck!

I have PCOS and conceived naturally... we were both shocked. The doctor had told me it would be impossible to conceive without the use of fertility drugs. It will happen when you least expect it. Best of luck.
