specs are alright, just minor issues, gets to last bit and goes no further ie upgrading then gets stuck, somehow, i like it when you hear of people saying its easy, but its not extremely difficult in my opinion. can anyone help.

I havent gotten it yet but i always stay away from upgrade cd's and just stick to full install versions. Theres always winds up being some kind of problem or incompatibilities with upgrade versions.
Especially with a new operating system.

Sorry to hear you are upgrading to Vista...........I did two weeks ago it took forever and now I have it I don't like it, so will be going back to using XP if I can get rid of this bloody Vista............

I just did an upgrade yesterday. CHECK YOUR VIDEO DRIVERS. This is what is probably causing the problem. Make sure you have your screen adjusted down to minimal settings (resolution) before doing the upgrade.

It's to early to upgrade yet ,wait a while.Untill they have sorted out all the problems.

i had vista installed when i bought my laptop. i wouldnt update if i were you, there is less chance of problems if you buy the whole thing. dont buy a mac there are just as many problems with them as there are with a PC. i bought my laptop with vista and have not had any problems with it, while a friend of mine who thought they were so smart for paying lot more for their apple laptop and she has had a few problems with her computer.
