All the body shops here use Tiger Hair body filler. Bondo is a good product. However, it all depends upon how you use it, if your body is prep-ted, Is the rust gone. How thick is the area your trying to fill? All these factors play a key roll in what your trying to achieve.

Now my past experiences I used over the counter bondo for its inexpensive savings and I also used aluminum window screen when I wanted to fill a hole due to rust. I clean the area inside and out where the hole is and glue the aluminum window screen from the back and then put the bondo over the screen using a little extra hardener. Do it fast because it sets up lightning fast. But it stays put where using that fiberglass mesh don't or wont last.

I have even seen people use duct tape for backing then bondo. What armatures lol.

The kind that has the fine fiberglass "hairs" in it. I believe there are two different kinds, one is a little finer cut than the other. I've used them, with excellent results. Very strong.
