you can't control someone liking you. If the guy likes you and not your friend, there's nothing you can do about it. If your friend wants to be mad at someone, she should be mad at the guy and not you.
The reason she's taking it out on you is because she wants to hook up with the guy and if he sees that she's mad at her, that makes it kind of hard to hook up.
Just tell your friend that he is the one that made the decision on who he likes, not you.

once this happend between me and two girls who were close friends. The girl who introduced her friend to me was the one who finally became my girlfriend. they had a big misunderstanding and they didnt talk for about 6 months.
You should choose between her and the guy because you are going to loose one. at least temporarily.

unless they are in a relationship its fair game, talk to your friend and tell her you like the same guy she does, and your pretty sure he likes you. If she is a true friend, she'll let have your happiness

U just let her get mad...........she will get over it someway somehow. Just never refuse to leave your dream just becoz you are afraid you will make someone sad or mad.Go for what you want when you can.
