NEGRITA: I don't know what the hell your saying (No hablo espanol), but I gave you a thumbs up for your enthusiasm.

WTF??: Yes, Chris Cornell is the only man who can give Maynard a run for his money. BUT only when he was with Soungarden. Years of heavy drinking, and chain smoking have ruined his voice. Audioslave sucks.

This is tough, because some vocalists score a top slot based on just one song but the rest of their work is just so-so.

For example, I love the way Chris Cornell could belt out some of the best Soundgarden tunes (think "Black Hole Sun"), but he didn't sound too hot when he was with Audioslave.
And he almost let lose when he sang the theme to the James Bond movie "Casino Royale"...but he didn't push his pipes to the shred-level.

Then there is Eddie Vedder - almost all the songs on "10" were great, largely due to his singing...but he just didn't do it for me on subsequent albums.

Or how about Green Days' Billie Joe Armstrong...I LOVE the way he sings "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"...and a few other tunes...but he's not my all-time fav.

Hell, I guess the one person who has been consistent in the current arena of rock music is Bono of U2.

I've got to go with the constant croon of my man Morrissey. Though Maynard is kick-*** too...he's in my top 5. Also, Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden, Prince, John Lennon, and Greg Graffin from Bad Religion. That's quite a mixed bag, eh?
