If I use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall IE7, does it only remove IE7? Is IE6 still in there somewhere?

Yes. Removing IE7 will revert you back to IE6.

Well I tried to go to uninstall programs and uninstall IE7 because after using it for only 4 hours I hated it. I then downloaded IE6 again and it would not download because IE7 had embedded itself into the "heart" of my system. I did a restore to get rid of it! I have WinXP pro and my pc is 6 months old, Pentuim (R) D cpu 3.00GHs i Gig of ram Etc. I say that IE7 is a stinker and I will not use it again!!!!!

I'm told you can uninstall it and reinstall IE6, but I installed Firefox instead and I'm quite happy with it.

all you have to do is double click the mouse and select :
" un-install internet explorer 6" or just simply drag ie6 over to your trash icon and trash it there.
