The snow once a year in the north does clean things off nicely. It helps to start the plants growing once a year all over again, and that makes everything look fresh.

What is this dirtay you speak of. I'm from Texas. I have running water and take showers daily. I clean under my nails and wash my clothing regularly.

I was from the south and if I understand you correctly, you mean the roads, homes, stores, ect... are so nasty. Part of the problem is the hurricanes, some people/companies never rebuild. There is also an odor that has never gone away after hurricane Andrew, it is a combination of mold and death. I don't know if it will ever go away. I also think some people just don't care. They let there homes fall apart, they through garbage out their windows while they are driving ect... They are just plain lazy. It is very different where I live now, I have even seen old ladies mowing their lawns, I'm amaized at the differences.

If you mean dirty, why don't you say dirty? Dirtay just sounds retarded. I've lived in the south my whole life, it's actually pretty clean.

I'm from the west coast, but I've moved south recently, and believe me, it's much nicer down here. California is farrr "dirtier" than nice places like Texas, aside from a few areas in the south that are being overrun by immigrants. Unfortunately, they do bring down property value, increase crime rates, and consequently lower the quality of life.

And I think I prefer San Diego over Austin, but on the whole I think the south is nicer.

I have lived all over this country, the dirtiest part is Southern California. Once you get away from the money (beaches, condos, wealth), it is very dirty. Lots of trash on the highways, freeways, against fences. Looks like Mexico!
Many parts of the South are beautiful, actually the majority of the South. If you drive through lowlife areas in any part of the country, you see where people have no pride in themselves or their surroundings. This is not limited to a geographic area.

Because some people come from Mexico. I have gone to Mexico and it looks the same there too. The south is turning into a cess pool because of lack of boundaries and enforcement of United States laws. I know where I live it is extremely dirty. Down here some believe they are in Mexico when they are in the United States. However, you can't blame the land for that. The people did it.
