While infatuation is fresh, yes, love is enough. When things settle down and one starts thinking clearly again, one realizes that no matter how beautiful, love alone is definitely not enough.

I think not also. The world has changed and people have a me first mentality. There isnt a true element of human compassion anymore.
Take this platform for example: People are quick to report abuse when they feel like they have been mentaly, or verbaly abused.
My theory is that its too tough to tell by computer type what a person feels or emotions behind the words written. On the other hand it is sometimes completely obvious when a person is being mean spirited.
I think to love is to truly let go of the small things in life and to not be overly politicaly correct or taken advantage of. Is a scocialistic society really what we are trying to acheive in this country. Good Luck Girl
Great Question

Love is not enough. Sex is not enough. Caring is not enough. Unless you have a good mixture of them all, none are enough and all are too much. The longer you hold on thinking it'll change, the longer you'll do without that good mix. who looses in the end ? You!!!

Honestly no. There is so much else required to make a relationship work. Trust, respect, compromise. When you are in love you feel like it will solve all your problems ut it just isn't true. Love is great but only if all the othe components are there too. It'll happen.

Sadly, no. The many other needs in life tend to kill love if they are not met.
Perhaps in a desert island love would be enough, but I doubt it.

It would be nice to think it is, but realistacally it's not. For example love without money = fighting and that then ruins the love

No, I believed that 16 yrs. ago when I married his broke @ss!
Trust me it's not enough, not enough when your kids need braces, not enough when your desperate for adventure and don't have the funds for it, not enough when you need to go to the doctor and can't afford it, not enough when he ages and is bitchy all the time.
Run,run...I didn't believe I needed more either. ;-)

Sometimes it can be, sometimes it cannot be enough. but most of the times, it can be what holds everything else in place.
