Take it to the dry cleaners! Do the bumper covers not have zippers to remove the cover to wash?

I have a small washer so I have to take mine to the local laundry mat in town. You would think that would be a pain but its kinda nice to have some alone time and you can get a lot done in a short period of time cuz you can use several machines at once. I take my mp3 player to listen to and a good book cuz when else are you going to have a chance to actually read?

If it's one of those pillowy type bumpers then you shouldn't use it in the crib, it's a SIDS risk. I would find my baby pressed up against it and when they can stand up they might be able to stand on the bumper and fall out of the crib. Don't use it. Instead use a mesh breathable bumper, much safer. They are $24 - $29 at Babies R Us.

I washed in the washing machine but it somehow stood up and became hung and it rubbed white and orange all over it and ripped off the strings. I was so upset. I recommend handwashing to avoid this problem.

Take it to a laudromat that has one of those industrial size machines. While you're there might as well do some big blankets, quilts, comforters and sleeping bags that need washing. Fit as much as you can in there.

I just rolled mine into thirds and put it in the machine, Do you have a large or extra large capacity washer? If not maybe you should take it to a laundrymat.

Well personally I would never use a bumper because of the SIDS risk but for large items just go to your local laundrymat and they should have oversized machines

mine fit the washing machine. then it had to be hung to drip dry. you could always hand wash in your bath tub if it absolutely wont fit in your washer.
