I am PRAYING that he does. Imagine how amazing it would be to start a grass roots movement to expose the whole concept of American Idol and take advantage of it.

Expose it how? The only thing that would be exposed is the folly of leaving it strictly up to the American public. My guess is that many people vote for their favorites no matter how they do in singing each week. And I'm equally sure that some people vote for particuar contestants as a backlash against what the judges say each week. Personally, I think there needs to be a strict limit on number of times anyone can vote. I say no more than five votes per person and must be done in the one call that gets thru. After that, no more votes.

Yes, it would. But right now... I don't see him making it that far. As you narrow down the choices, everyone that doesn't support Sanjaya will have less others to choose from. So the voting will be more concentrated to less people and overpower the Sanjaya vote.
In his heart I really don't think he wants to win. He know's he's not the best singer - he said it last night. But he's young and enjoys the attention. So he's gonna soak up the starlight while he can, but I don't think he expects to win.

I dont think Ruben, Fantasia or Taylor shouldve won either. I wanted Bo to win but after hearing Carrie's cd I'm glad she did. I personally hate Sanjaya but he's obviously getting votes from someone..probably the pre-teen set. I'm not sure what you think would be exposed..the voters do the choosing..sometimes theyre right, but mostly theyre wrong..why would this season be any different?

As Simon keeps saying, this is a singing completion. I don't feel that alot of the voters are taking this into consideration. Think that some are voting on the merits of popularity rather than ability.

Yes for me that would be the end of IDOL as we know it... I'm telling you they need to rethink this voting thing... The judges votes should count for as least half... or limit the times you can call in... there as got to be a way that it can be more fair... or more logical!

If he wins I really would stop watching the show. There is no way America would vote for him to win. The show would have to be fake. The boy can't sing.

Well he is kind of bad, but he needs to find a song that suits him. It might destroy American idol... but Simon is retarded if he quits!
