Ok i got a weird problem,

whenever I plug in my xbox 360 controller (wired) to my PC the internet stops working. It connects slowly, tells me I am connected and then nothing but the timer clockface appearing in the bottom left corner. I can't even connect if I unplug it until I restart the comp.

Anyone got a clue,

Thanks

well... this could be anything, but at a wild guess, your pc uses a USB ADSL modem to connect to the internet, you are plugging in you Xbox to your pc on the ethernet (network) port and attempting to share the internet connection. This should work so long as you go into - control panel - network connections - select your usb modem, right click and set to share internet connection. This should work, if it does;nt you will have to make a network bridge between the modem and network card, window xp allows you to do this easily, just highlight the ethernet card and usb modem in the network connections section, right click and select bridge connections, this should solve your problem
